QuestionHow should the development of developing countries take place? Is micro- finance or macro- finance better? delgersaikhan jadambaAnsweroriginal language english
Martin Almada: In the Third World countries macro-economy brings profit only to few exporters, as it is in case of Paraguay. Paraguay is a big soya exporter but without bringing any profit to its poor people.
We seek to develop an economic system suitable for ordinary people, they could easy cope with and with the prospect of development. Micro-economy offers a great chance of improving the living standard of those excluded from a system. I work for Paraguay and head a foundation promoting micro-economy. We use solar energy in oder to create self-employment possibilities for young female peasants.
In this micro-economy project we collect medical plants, tropical fruits and bring them to schools, solar energy too. We produce paper for plastic artists and create
micro-economy for young female peasants in the area of solar energy.
This is our experience in Paraguay we aim to develop further.
