Rodrigo Baggio: Nós não deveremos considerar que algumas vidas têm mais valor que otras. Isso é realmente um absurdo. Nós devemos ter um sentimento de igualdade na nossa diversidade. As pessoas são diferentes, e que riqueza e como é bonito ver essa diferença entre as pessoas. Mas nos devemos ter o mesmo tratamento. Nós não deveriamos privilegiar algumas pessoas por serem brancas, homens, ter dinhero, ter estatus e posição na sociedade. Nós deveriamos ter um respeito a cada ser humano, a cada criatura. Essa igualdade na diversidade, ela é criativa. Ela estimula complexidade, ela faz do nosso mundo, da nossa vida um sistema complexo adaptativo que aprende. Nós deveriamos estimular cada vez mais esse sentimento de igualdade na diversidade. E é um absurdo que exista esse tipo de comportamento em que ums são mais iguais do que os otros e por isso eles podem ter privilegios, podem ter mais coisas que os otros. Como criar mecanismos que estabeleçam esse tipo de igualdade? Como fazer que pessoas de baixa renda, pessoas de comunidades indiginas isoladas, de zonas rurais, pessoas marginalizadas possam participar nesse proceso de igualdade, nessa complexidade. Como rico é ouvir e aprender com essas pessoas que pensam diferente, que são diferente e que têm culturas e tradições diferentes. Seria muito melhor estabelecer um processo em que a gente possa estar vivendo hármonicamente respeitando a cada pessoa na sua diferença e sermos iguais na nossa diferença e na nossa complexidade.

Rodrigo Baggio: We should not consider some lives to have more value than others. This is really absurd. We should have a sense of equality in our diversity. People are different, and it is rich and beauitful to see this difference between people. But we should encounter the same treatment. We should not privilege some people because they are white, men, have money or status and position in society. We should respect each human being, each creature. This equality in the diversity is creative. It stimulates complexity and it makes of our world, of our life a complex system which learns. Each time we should stimulate more this sense of equality in our diversity. And it is absurd that there exists this type of behaviour exists in which some people are more similar than the others and can consequently have more privileges , can have more things than others. How can we create mechanisms that establish this type of equality? How can we make it possible that people with a low rent, people of isolated indigenous communities, of rural areas and marginalized people can participate in this process of equality, in this complexity? How enriching it is to listen and to learn from those people who think differently, who are different and who have different cultures and traditions. It would be much better if we established a process in which people lived more harmoniously and respected each person in his difference and if we could be equal in our difference and complexity.
