Freedom is an illusion created by those in power. Yes, it is a line from the Matrix but it is true. We are not free to choose, to think, to be. We have all been conditioned to believe certain things and to accept our lives without questioning. Our governments want us to keep our mouths shut, breed and pay our taxes. Don't rock the boat will you! Our freedom to think is the most sacred right of all yet it has been taken from us in insidious ways, not just by our governments but by religion (although the mental slavery is far more overt in this case) and also by science. Our potential as a species far outweighs anything we have accomplished (or anything we can objectively measure) but as long as we remain confined in a world where we are constantly told we have physical, mental, spiritual and social limitations and we are brainwashed into believing we are not successful unless we are popular and have lots of material possessions, we will never be free.

Freedom is a God-given right that, historically speaking, few have experienced & even fewer were/are willing to fight/die for. It is a beacon in the darkness that inspires one to contemplate both individual & mankind's potential --- were we to overcome the rot within. And, for those who dare consider it --- a constant reminder of the horror, agony & misery that exists when dominated by the beast.

Freedom is the ultimate human right. The one that is inherent to human condition and that provides you with a bi-direccional option all through your life: a) the right to do whatever you want to, and b) the duty to perform your obligations, implementing them with courage, ethics and dignity. Only if you can make this 2 directions match, can you speak about true Freedom.

Freedom is a way of making errors in order to achieve reason ;-). In the end it is about recognizing boundaries of own responsibility and faith in god.

is nothing "for". Freedom is the birthright of every human being. Nobody can give you freedom. Everybody has to free themselves - from all learned conditions, from the past, from guilt, shame - from all restrictions. Beeing the ONESELF!

Freedom and true love go always together. Freedom gives also the space to create and to explore. Without freedom there would be no choice. Without freedom there would be no evolution. Finally freedom is not a purpose but the essence of our soul.

We need space to grow, in body, mind, and spirit, and freedom is what lets this happen. Ultimately we make our own freedom - we can't control external forces, so we have to find freedom wherever we can, starting within ourselves.
