No person is an island, complete and entire to themselves. To live in isolation, to create self imposed barriers, whether virtual or material, against the world is to become less than human and diminishes humanity as a whole.

Love. To love is most exciting. Never ending. Love God, your neighbour, yourself, your so called enemy. Love the human family, Familie Mensch. Love itself loves you into love.

at a young age, my mother had taught me to never feel sorry for a person. She had told me that "feeling sorry for a person only makes them ashamed and makes them feel worse and weak." I never thought much of this until tragedy and pain happened to my family, people all around us said sorry, poor them, i feel so bad for them... this did more harm then help and eventually sent me into a deep depresion, that too this day makes the subject hard to talk about, so here is a way of going about it..When a person or a group of people are in peril the best thing for them is to understand the pain without feeling sorry for them.

One of the most important things I've learned in my life is the value of respect for all things. Respect is a foundation, that if practiced by everyone to everything, can calm (maybe eliminate) the violence against the human and natural world.

I learned that we humans have a universal set of needs that have to be satisfied for us to be healthy, productive, compassionate, and peaceful. And those needs are listed here: http://www.thewiseturtle.com/needs.html
