What do you personally find beautiful in this life you have lived? What do you find ugly?

The ocean at dawn; the heart of the redwoods; the blushing bride. These are all beautiful. But as a dad, I have to say that the most beautiful thing of all is watching my boys learn compassion. To watch a child rush in to aid or console another is such a miraculous experience. But then we destroy that beauty. We (the media, the peers, the parents) expect our children to toughen up, to confidently claim "Me first!" And callouses build on their hearts. This is what I find most ugly.

For me the most beautiful thing is waking up and seeing the sunrise and being thankful that I am still alive to experience this crazy world we live in. As for uglienss, well there are a lot of things that I consider unpleasant, but i try really really hard to not get bogged down in "ugly" since it is such a prejudiced concept.

I´ve been investing my life in education! I can tell you that I´ve been connected with 7 , 8. 9 year old kids , adolescentes of all ages, college students, tachers... Believing that when you change a man you change the world...I´ve been lucky enough to see wonderful results...A teacher can do a good job if he/she gets connected to God...Love is a wonderful tool! It´s through love that you can have the power of transforming a hard stone into a diamond! It´s a delicate job! But a life dedicated to " bring hidden diamonds to the world"...is a real mission of love and patience! But is worth! It would be nice to listen from Benjamin Fahrer´s thoughts! I have a feeling that he´s got lots of things to teach!

i think that everything or everyone is beautiful.. i think life is beautiful. What is ugly is when people and things are destroyed because of ignorance or violence
