It's your perception of it that makes something ugly. Nothing is intrinsically ugly, but is made so by you.

Life without faith is ? Life with faith in the godhead and the ultimate love of God is beautiful? :) LOL There is a truth in that seedling you pass every day---that shrub, that tree? That bird? Consciousness is both all and secondary to that one reality? Reality is a state of mind?

I think that there is also objectivity. It's no use in making ugly things beautiful, we have to see things as they are. I think it's always our "ego" that distorts our perception, we like to see things in our own favor/interest and not what they really are. But "objectivity" is let's say to realize that by this egoistic perception we become self-destructive or we lose our freedom etc. despite the circumstance that we *delude* ourselves that we're "working" on the opposite.

All in perception and conditionment of our culture, I agree , it is made so by you and by socity, what society states as ugly we become conditioned into believing, and that becomes our perception, same with Beauty.

The tree behind your door becomes the gift of a reality only certain souls/ more souls should/ can see!!! The infinite combined with the finite/ enclosed society of Man? There is no ugliness where the infinite plays?

I think cultures are just in order to mutually "neutralize" our egos on a wholistic level. But there will never be "beauty" without overcoming our "egos". Maybe some people are just adapted "adrenaline junkies" and they perceive this world as exciting and beautiful, while others perceive it as stressful and ugly. But even from a scientific perspective one could say that "adrenaline junkies" must have a decreased life-expectancy.
