Just today, i read this quote in a website i found really meaningful, inspiring and worth sharing: “Be realistic - demand the impossible!” Anonymous graffiti, Paris 1968 When i first read it...a cascade of the most incredible thoughts just appeared in my mind.

ok so its 2 sentences but i couldn't choose and they are both quotes. "Say what you have to say, not what you ought. Any truth is better than make-believe." -- Henry David Thoreau "Mourn the losses, because they are many; but celebrate the victories, because they are few" -- Debbie -- Queer as Folk

When I first say this I thought of this "This too shall pass." It seems to have several sources but this one is as good as any. http://www.wscribe.com/parables/pass.html

Meaningful is abstract and subjective when constructing a sentence. Is it the sentence what makes it meaningful to another or is it the words used to construct the sentence that gives it meaning? Words or sentences are not meaningful independently of the context or subject. The sentence you gave as an example is only meaningful to you in the context you presented it. Otherwise it has no meaningfulness to others but an emotion of 'isn't that nice'.

You're just saying that to sound smart and rebellious. Of course the word meaningful is ambiguous, it depends on the person, hence why the question is addressed to the individual and not "what is the best sentence in the world." And of course its not just the words that make a sentence have meaning, its them strung together that reveals something about the importance of our world and our purpose in existence. Its called dropping knowledge not deuchebag smart-alec sass.

The most simple and meaningful sentence I can think of is "He helps me with things" It was told to me by a mentally disabled lady I knew.
