This question likely will never get answered and there is a good reason why. The world of man operates primarily on the pair of opposites of good and bad. The problem there is no common consensus on good and bad. Good is almost always considered what is good for a single individual, a state, country, etc. That leaves bad for the other people and places. Of course this is unfair, and this is not unknown to the unfortunate others and they retaliate with whatever power they hold in their possession, normally a violent power. Then there is the fact that everyone doesn’t really know the difference between good and bad. They think that more possessions and money than they can possibly use is good but that doesn’t buy peace, happiness and contentment. We are all scurrying about looking for our piece of the pie and don’t care about the people who can’t even get one potato. The answer is obviously compassion, all the wise people know this such as the present Buddha that is why he is called the Buddha of compassion. Love and compassion is the key and this is not just love for those close to you, those who can help you back in some way, this is what Jesus said, love your enemy. We forget that the answers to peace are already known but not utilized. It is not complicated but it takes well balanced, evolved, enlightened people to implement this solution for peace. Mankind is a sorry lot, Murder, rape, commercial enslavement, oppressive government, more kinds of violence that I can possibly name flourishes. We have numerous sicknesses of the psyche (the soul), and these sick people run the world while the kind, loving and compassionate get subjugated. Peace won’t happen until enough people get cured and these cured people get control of government. The scales will have to be tipped in favor of love and compassion instead of greed and avarice and this is not an easy thing to accomplish because power rests in the name of violence. The scales are locked down and the peaceful people would have to use violence to right them and that in not their nature. As I have been saying all along this is the job for heroes, the world desperately needs heroes, millions of them but where are the heroes? So until these would be heroes step up and endeavor for love, compassion and peace we are doomed to the state of war, cruelty and violence.
