Yes we are evolved, but the things that we have learned, created, and/ or discovered are the things that are causing us to be unaware. There is also the fact that people have used their advancement ot slow others down, eventually causing a later development of a nother people. For example, the rich and the poor. The rich used their ability to get more money or save up money and do not use it to help and suport the poor, leaving them behind.- Yarisa

It is an opinion that we are highly evolved and that is the problem. Were we what we believe ourselves to be (truly evolved responsible sentient entities), it would not be necessary to ask this question.

two fold, one evolution of the mind has created awareness of our abilities, evolution of the heart requires our action of our new awareness, as sense of ownership so many people dont want to be responsible to have to take ownership so are we really that evolved?

Someone who runs through chaos will see less than the person who sits and observes it. It is easy to be involved in something, its another thing to be engaged in that something. Awareness is something that occurs when one invest in the time to stop, observe, or listen...something that is a conscious. Another way to express what I am saying is, how many things do we do on the day to day that we think nothing about? Do you truly "think" to turn the knob to open the door or just do it? However, when the door is locked when we thought it was open...our awareness becomes present. In this aspect, maybe routine is the culprit for why we can be highly involved and so completely unaware. -just food for thought- ----Great question. -Deruut Ebircs
