"Give me a child until he is seven and I will give you the man". It is allegedly attributed to the Catholic Order, the Jesuits.

I can only answer for ME. I hold many of the things I believed when I was small very close to me, but I believe (the key words here: "I believe") as your experience advances your ideas/ideals change. The phrase I catch myself using more and more is "I would LIKE to believe..." And you can believe anything you want. The trick is to integrate it with consensus reality. Whatever THAT is.....

When I read your question I was here with my 3 year old younger brother and I began thinking that right now he believes anything is possible and that he can become anything he wants. As we grow older we begin to tell ourselves no I can't do this or I can't do that. The word "Can't" does not exist in a child's vocabulary. I think that is something we as adults can learn from. We stop believing in things as we grow older and although no I don't believe in the things I did as a child, maybe It's time that I start. I feel like life was better when I believed that all things were possible. thanks robert iPad 3 Cases

because children see the world with this innate wonder and are constantly asking questions - only in doing so, I believe, we can truly improve ourselves and develop.

All you need to do is, redefine everything so you can continue to believe in it.
