When looking at the situation of over population throughout the world we need to look at it as how can we prevent there being to many of us rather then what do we do when it is to late. We are already rapidly using our plants resources and rather then replacing those resources we are focusing on how to gather food and materials in an unnatural way. For instance in the U.S. factory farmed food is the only way there is enough food for everyone. Our developed countries are ok, but underdeveloped countries are already suffering dramatically from lack of food, water, medical care, housing, education etc. And unfortunately I feel that our worlds attempt at population control is not working. For example in China the one child rule, many girls were being killed and abandoned and now they are predicting China's population to drop in half over the next century due to the fact the majority of the pop is older people, and with the lack of girls being born there is now a shortage of women to re-populate the country. All in all this is a very large problem that I feel nation leaders should start taking a more serious approach to in finding a solution.
