What makes us free?

The fact that we exist is what makes us free. Human beings- in my opinion- have various sides to their personalities, but, there are good points which we have gained through evolution and reaching out to others and there are the negative attributes, such as fear, hate, envy, greed, etc. These more negative aspects are primitive and are what holds us back- or rather- we keep ourselves oppressed by our inability, or sometimes outright refusal, to overcome them. It is our connection with nature (including each other) that makes us free, as we are bound by our atoms and our thoughts and actions. We can't die before living- life is not something that we asked for, it just happened. We never know what happens after death- not for sure. But life, it's essence, it's gift, and the ultimate end- death, is all a part of existence. We all share existence and have the ability to communicate. We laugh, we love, we hurt others and we hurt ourselves. We live. We ARE. And the only thing to destroy that for us is ourselves. No one rules the sky, or the weather. No one tells the galaxy how to spin in the universe. Perhaps it has no free thought, but everything and everyone is a form of energy and therefore a part of each other. This is what make us free.
