Your donation is tax-deductible in Germany and the U.S. For a donation of 25 Euros or more, you will receive a tax receipt which you can claim through your tax return.
Security Information
We offer the highest security standard for the transfer of private data via an SSL-encrypted connection, guaranteed by an SSL certificate. When using a modern browser a 128-bit encryption is utilized, when using an older browser a 40-bit code is utilized. During the donation process, a simple double-click on the lock symbol at the bottom of your browser window allows you to verify the certificate.
Security for your credit card data
Processing is carried out under the control of Montrada GmbH, an affiliate of Dresdner Bank and Commerzbank. Credit card data is transferred separately from personal data and synchronized with the credit card company in order to verify the credit standing and validity of the credit card. Only if all data is correct will the credit card company withdraw the donated amount from your bank and transfer it to dropping knowledge’s donations account. Once the transaction has been completed, you will receive confirmation via e-mail.
