like april said lying to ourselves what is wrong with us is the fact that we think we are ourselves. the biggest illusion that the universe plays on us if the fact that you think you are you. we think we are separate from everything. if we can percieve the universe we are already a part of it not separate from it. if we treated other humans as we treated ourselves then there would be no more war. if we realized that we are part of nature and dependent on nature to continue surviving then mabey we wouldnt destroy it anymore.

mabey death isnt real but our physical body still dies. we wont see the universe through the same eyes anymore. it will be the begining of something new. life is a cycle so it would be logical that death is a cycle too. but i dont know what im talking about death is an abstract concept to me ive never experienced it before so i dont know.

its true it is hypocritical to destroy nature and condemn people for eating meat. i strongly disagree with the mistreatment of animals( this is widespread and documented in the meat industry) but it is the natural cycle of life. i have the power to chose and i chose not to eat meat. besides a healthy body complements a healthy mind.

i think a good amount of american citizens have contempt for their government. unfortunately most people do not act on this feeling. and the rest do not know how to act without using violence. non-violent protests have affected the biggest social changes in the past 100 years(Ghandi, MLK) not wars.

the metals that make yer computer are mined usually from africa or poorer parts of asia. the miners are not getting the profit the computer companies are. the miners are paid very cheaply for their labor not the amount of computers sold. i would say that ya we depend on keeping other people on their knees so we can stand on them and come out on top rather than sharing the wealth.

we are all part of the universe. we are not outside the universe observing it. we affect it, its affects us. if carl sagan is right in that "we are made of star stuff" then we all came into existence as a result of the big bang then we have a common orgin.

i think we are animals. the sinilarites should be obvious it is encoded in our dna to eat,drink,survive and repoplulate. we have that in common with them. we came into existence way after "animals" and dinosuars did. mabey they are smarter than us. we just dont understand their intelligence, they express it differently. im sure if you sat down with a parot and talked about existentialism with it it wouldnt think of us as smarter than it because it doesnt understand us. we cant understand them for the most part either. birds have existed since the dinosuars basically so they have a longer collective unconcious timespan than we do.

i dont know what i would die for. off the top of my head id say my dad. but i dont live for him...is the point of life finding something you would die for? cuz in my case it isnt. i love my dad but all my decisions arent based off making him happy.

police are criminals that punish other criminals. leaders are supposed to lead by example not with threats of violence. we allow them to walk all over us becuase they say they are more important than us and we should do what they say because they know what is in our best intrest better than we do.

ive been having dreams about storms on and off for the past month or so. i would like to think it has relevance to my life since it is a reoccuring dream. does anyone have any thoughts on what it might mean?

i dont know if there is a cure but i know of natural herbs that can releive the pain of headaches. Basil, Chamomile, Evening Primrose, Lavender, Lovage, Marjoram, Oregano, Periwinkle, Poppy, Rosemary, Scented Geranium, Valerian, Violet. these are all natural substances that have been used to treat a number of ailments for thousands of years. i personally dont like to ingest anything that is not natural. some ingredients in yer medication are probably derived from natural sources it has still been diluted with chemicals. i trust nature more than i trust anything made by humans. oh and alot of those herbs you can make into a tea which is good for you at the same time.
