Optimism is the most crutial means to create a peaceful ends. If the world can't have a collective optimism about achieving peace first, then peace will not follow. " Some men see the world as it is and ask why, I see the world as it never was and ask why not" -JFK
ethics
lol. Is it ethical to genetically modify food for profit? Is it ethical to advertise medications? Is corporate finance of campaigns ethical? Is it ethical for the pope to go to africa and speek against contraceptives? Is it ethical for the pope to relocate a known child molester to another church?
human soul
A soul. What is a soul. Maybe a soul is a creation of the HUMAN mind. An attempt to describe with words the indescribable? In this case a human soul could not be manifested by another animal species because the soul would simply be a humans attempt to describe with human words something that which may or may not even exist outside of the human mind. I personaly think that animals should come to thier own conclusions about whether they have a "soul" or not.
Value?
Humans are often quite ignorant of the fact that thier ability to percieve "reality" is quite limited. The whole foundation supporting human perception could be false. The word value describes a subjective quality, a quality which, as we humans percieve it, could or could not exist. So I think you could restate your question as " Do you think that you, as a human, manifest a quality which you define, and ultimately which your species created on top of a intellectual foundation that which could or could not be real or conclusive?"
God?
In my opinion the god you reference here isnt real outside of the human mind. So the notion that some being outside the human mind let something happen to you is delusion. A person did this to you and as long as we as a species continue to understand the problems we face, like the one you have stated here, in terms of an ominpotent being that allows for everything on earth to take place and that has a hand in every action, then these problems will continue to take place.
